Bugs Salcido: plays with Cracker, Camper Van Beethoven, or Counting Crows, and then disappears; works with Don Smith and Jeff Trott, but chooses to live in a dusty New Mexican town with a population of just over 2000; entertains Los Lobos and Mike Campbell on some drunken evenings, but is just as happy to stumble alone through the streets of Mesilla with a bottle of tequila in one hand and a guitar in the other; has been seen posing as a gourmet chef for unsuspecting studio bands; unpredictable, contradictory, mysterious, and possibly even possessed; aka Anita Drink and Unkle Diablito; also known to give command midnight performances in Ethiopian restaurants.
